The films presented by REX at the cinemas Zita and Bio Capitol offer a gender-balanced and varied selection of creative voices from all over Europe. Together they form a kaleidoscope of themes that occupy our contemporary filmmakers right now.

Now in its 5th year, REX occupies a central and growing position in Sweden, as the most recognised festival dedicated to animation films. It enables the Swedish audience to discover and enjoy animation films for all ages (not only for children) to meet and exchange with directors, to join workshops and to vote for the Audience Award.
